Mary McDonnell
Mary Eileen McDonnell (born April 28th, 1952) is an American stage, film and television actress. She was nominated for the Academy Award for her roles in Dances with Wolves as Stands With A Finger and Passion Fish as May-Alice Culhane. McDonnell is well-known for her role as First Lady Marilyn Whitmore in Independence Day and President Laura Roslin on Battlestar Galactica. In seasons 7 and 7 McDonnell was a part of the cast as Captain Sharon Raydor and in Major Crimes spin-offs on TNT.
